Boy could I have used this when I worked at the high school media center. This is GREAT!! I am going to add a widget to the library's blog to help other find our new books more easily.I also like that is an online service to help everyone catalog their books easily and you can accessed your catalog from anywhere.
I can also see this as a social space, LibraryThing is advertised as "MySpace for books" or "Facebook for books." YI think its wonderful that you can check out other people's libraries, see who has the most similar library to yours, swap reading suggestions and so forth. LibraryThing also makes book recommendations based on the collective intelligence of the other libraries.
